The LinkStar-STX3-PC104 is the engineering model of our space version, providing a platform for development and testing. The LinkStar-STX3-PC104 is a complete "radio system" for system monitoring and satellite tracking. AND the LinkStar-STX3-PC104 supports the cubesat form factor and and cubesat bus. Plug it in your cubesat stack and you are good to go!
You can use the LinkStar-STX3-PC104 to beacon your data from many locations on Earth and at altitudes up to 150,000! The on board BeagleBone Black can also be used to manage and operate your test platform! System includes LinkStar-STX3-PC104 board, modified BeagleBone Black, Ada Fruit Ultimate GPS™ and radio antenna plus USB cord and AC power adapter for ground testing.
Unit is FCC Part 25 certified (2ANKS-LINKSTAR-STX3) and Globalstar certified to use with a range of SMA connected antennas up to 4.55 dB.
The LinkStar-STX3-PC104 includes the QuickSAT/VMS web interface to activate the radio system plus development APIs to access the radio, record and transmit user specific data, and GPS access.
